Toddler Airplane Bed

A toddler airplane bed is a strong Oxford fabric mat that stretches from your child's plane seat to the seat in front, so little legs have somewhere to rest and there is room to stretch out for a nap.

Why You'll Love It

• Room to stretch out or nap on long flights
• Straps on in a minute, nothing to inflate
• Light, about 233 g, folds small for a carry-on
• Non-slip dotted back and a mesh bottle pocket underneath
• 79 x 44 cm (31.5 x 17.5 in) of flat, level space when the straps are pulled tight
• Quality Oxford fabric with a fun print kids like to look at

Made for Long Flights

Little kids can't sit upright for hours. In a big plane seat their legs dangle, they slide and twist, and getting to sleep is hard. With the seat extended, your child can put both legs out straight, sit and play on a level surface, or lie down and sleep when it is time. The mat sits in the leg space of your child's own seat, under the tray table of the seat in front.

How to Use

1. Lower the tray table of the seat in front.
2. Loop the strap at the front end of the mat around the tray-table arm and click the buckle shut.
3. Fasten the long strap at the other end around your child's seat and click it shut.
4. Pull both straps tight so the mat is taut and level with the seat cushion, then fold the tray table back up.

FAQ

Can we use it on every airline?

No. Airline rules differ. Some airlines don't allow seat extenders or footrests at all, and others only allow them at a window seat and not during taxi, take-off and landing. Please check your airline's policy before you fly and follow the crew's instructions.

Does it need to be inflated?

No. It is a strong Oxford fabric mat with two straps, so there is no pump and nothing to blow up.

Will it fit my plane seat?

It is made for standard economy seats where the seat in front has a fold-down tray table with side arms. Bulkhead rows with the tray stored in the armrest have no tray arm to strap to.

How big is it?

79 x 44 cm (31.5 x 17.5 in) when laid out. It folds down to about 30 x 22 cm, small enough for a backpack or carry-on.

How much weight does it hold?

The maker rates it for up to 25 kg (55 lb).

Can my child sleep on it?

Yes, that is what most parents use it for. Your child lies on the seat with the legs or body stretched out on the mat. Stay with your child and keep the seat belt fastened when the crew asks.

Does it take space from the passenger in front?

No. It stays in the leg space of your child's own seat.

How do I clean it?

Wipe it with a damp cloth and let it air dry.

Which colors can I choose?

Pink with an astronaut bear print, or Starry Blue with a space print.
